    Do you know how to successfully manage your Community notifications and get the information you want whenever you want it? Keep reading for a guided how-to.

    General notifications when joining a community: real time, daily or none
    When you join a Community and click on the Join button, a message regarding notifications will pop up. From here you can select the frequency and the format (if plain text is preferred) of the notifications, as well as opting out from all of them. If you're very interested in a specific community, then Real Time is your best option to can get an email every time there's something going on in that specific Community. If you would prefer a summary of all that has happened in a day contained in a single email, then you can choose Daily Digest.


    Manage and customise your notifications: daily digest, weekly digest or none
    If you would like to further manage and customise your notifications, it's time to head to your Profile and click on My account > Community notifications. 
    From here, you will see all the Communities you are a member of and all the scheduled notifications related to them. Then, you can decide between having a daily digest, a weekly digest, both or none. If you choose the weekly option, you can easily change it to your preferred day by selecting the day from the drop-down menu.
    Please note when a consolidated digest is added to a community, the discussion emails will be automatically set to "No Email".
     


        
    Notifications inbox and managing your email address
    All these notifications will go to both your Community inbox and your primary email address. However, if you would like to add an additional email address to direct these notifications to, you can do that by going to My account > Email preferences and clicking on the Change button next to your default email.

    If, for any reason, you would like to change your primary address in the Community, please reach out to the Community team by email at blueprismcommunity@blueprism.com.

    Specific notifications: "Follow" option
    Finally, in case you are interested in any content in particular, you can always click on the Follow star button you will find at the right margin next to discussions, ideas and blogs and you will get a notification whenever there's a new interaction.
