Process Validation Error

    Hi, guys,

    Some of the users on our platform are not able to use the built-in process validation tool. They are getting an error pop-up stating that "Unauthorized - user does not have permission." (you can view the details in the attached document). 

    We've been able to isolate the root cause as being related to user roles/rights. More specifically, it seems that the issue can be solved by assigning to  a specific user the "System Administrator" role. But then the thing is that, by assigning this user role, you grant access to each and every permission for that specific role.

    So my question is which of the permissions included in the "System Administrator" role is triggering the right to use Process Validation or not?

    Hi Radu,

    Are you using version 6.5? If so, this could be a known issue bg-3312.

    Go to System -> Security -> User Roles. For the roles you wish to enable, go to Permissions -> System Manager  and select Audit - View Design Controls  

    Can you try that and let me know if it works? You might also need to select Audit - Configure Design Controls as well.
