Interact - Installation Setup

    Im currently in process of installing Interact 4.3 on our environment. I notice that Installer has been running for more than an hour and still on status copying new files. Kindly advice on the below on what might happen on it or what to do. Thank you in advance! Here is some screenshots i took.

    Hi Daniel, I noticed you also submitted a support ticket on this issue on which I'd like to share the resolution for others who may also experience this issue. 

    Reviewing event logs provided more details on the issue, in this case the error was:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Blue Prism\Files\Files\sql-configuration\ColumnEncryption.ps1 : A parameter cannot be found
    that matches parameter name 'FriendlyName'.
    + CategoryInfo : InvalidArgument: (:) , ParameterBindingException
    + FullyQualifiedErrorId : NamedParameterNotFound,ColumnEncryption.ps1

    The current OS was Windows Server 2012. After upgrading to meeting the minimum requirement of Windows Server 2016 the installation was able to proceed.

There are no additional direct license costs for using Interact, however, there will be additional infrastructure to support the product. For those Blue Prism customers who don’t meet the above criteria, Interact is also available for a licensing fee.
