This week marks the beginning of the EY Foundation Smart Futures Programme at Blue Prism: during this time we which will see 10 students from low income backgrounds undertaking paid work experience with us (virtually!) in the UK for a week each, followed by 10 months of mentorship by some of our colleagues.

The main objective of the programme is to give the students tangible work experience and skills to secure university places and job placements in the future; for many they will be the first in their families to go to university or enter full time work.

We have 5 students joining us in 'London' and 5 in 'Warrington' where they'll put their learnt business skill to the test. They will be learning all about Blue Prism and the corporate life along with talks from our AI Labs and learning about art of the possible.  They then will be presenting their own automation idea that they think will have a positive impact on society; all priming them for completion of a diploma at the end of their scheme.

This aligns directly with BPFG's aim to unleash human potential and inspire the future of work and marks a great new chapter in our companies efforts to support the next generation of workers.

Keep an eye on the tag #EYsmartfutures for more posts coming about the programme!
