  • 1.  Capture and image into a data item that is addressed by an URL link?

    Good Day Team

    Do you know if it is possible to place an image into a data item that is only addressed by an URL link?

    Any ideas on how this can b done?

    I suspect you will have to save the image linked to via an URL locally before then loading it into a data item (probably using the old image manipulation utility object?
    Probably create an object that goes to the URL using a browser and use the save image functionality within the browser.

    That is how I would have done it quick and dirty years ago,  definately the way to go for anyone not comfortable creating code stages.

    If you are comfortable with .NET development do a google search for '.net load image from url' and you will find some code to modify into your own spanking new Image Load From URL action that you could create.
