Hi John
I hope you are well today. Thank you for your reply.
I'm still new to RPA and Blue Prism. I've been doing it for 6 months now and really enjoy it as its such a new area of technology for me.
With regards to where I want to specialise or to take my career I'm not sure yet as its all so new to me.
I'm currently in a Support role but don't think I'm going to stay dong this for the rest of my career so I'm thinking along the lines of Dev. Support will probably give me a good insight into how it all works etc but I want to get further in it.
I'm really interested in AI and the OCR aspect of things and the other function's that Blue Prism can perform. But maybe I need to focus on getting the basics under my belt to a good degree before planning on changing my career path first ??
We support UI Path as well but I'm not supporting this and from what I've seen of it I don't really like it.
Again, thank you for getting back to me.
Kind regards
John

Hi,
I think this all depends on where you want to specialise or where you want to take your career. As a long-term developer, the Professional Developer exam and follow-up Blue prism exams (architect, etc) are a good starting point but only if you plan to stay within Blue Prism. Training material is in the Blue Prism University site.
Other than that, what parts of Blue Prism are you most interested. There are loads of courses covering VB, C# and JSON/API architecture dependent on your preference. Both Udemy and Corsera have multiple courses on each subject. Training from competitors RPA might also be interesting as they take different approaches to some problems, which can be useful when problem solving in Blue Prism
Thanks
John

Hi All
I hope you are well. Quick question. What courses would you recommend following on from the BP Foundation training.
I'm looking for one that has good hands on and at a good pace just so I can continue my journey.
I've checked Udemy and Corsera but not sure which one is a good choice and wondered if any of the great people in this community have tried any.
Also how they compare to the Foundation training as I always think this is the best run course out there.
Your thoughts are truly appreciated.
Kind regards
John
