Work Queues::Get Transaction Data

I tried to run Work Queues::Get Transaction Data action to retrieve queue data for analysis. All I got was an error message saying that "The currently installed licence does not support queue transactions." According to documentation of this business object is says that "The preconditions : The installed license must support queue transactions". What does this mean and where do I get that licence that supports queue transactions? Enterprise license isn't powerful enough to run this kind of task, eh.

Hello Manu,

Thank you for contacting Blue Prism Support; I hope you are well. I'll be working with you on this ticket.
Based on the error message reported in this ticket ("Internal: The currently installed licence does not support queue transactions."), you'll likely need to utilize a different Action in the Work Queues VBO or take advantage of the Queue Reporting VBO to meet your requirements here.

The 'Get Transaction Data' functionality is only enabled when using a legacy license type that supports this function. This functionality was originally implemented into the product for billing purposes to gather transaction count details needed for customers that were charged per transaction, as opposed to concurrent sessions. In the last few years, the vast majority of modern Blue Prism licenses provided to our Partners and Customers are based on concurrent sessions limits instead of this type of transactional model.

Version 4.2.43 introduced a product change only to perform work queue transaction logging and run the Transaction report for legacy license types. To work around this, the 'Work Queues - Get Report Data' action can also be utilized to gather similar data used for compiling work queue-related data.

Additionally, there is a 'Queue Reporting VBO' available, which provides standard reports for work queues covering items worked, exceptions, and queue performance. This solution is contained in a single Object that uses MS Excel to create reports. The Queue Reporting VBO can be downloaded from the Blue Prism Portal under Product > Developer Jumpstart. For further information on how to work with the Queue Reporting VBO, please refer to the Queue Reports Object Guide stored in the Documents section of the Portal.

Hope it helps.

@Hossein Azimi Thank you very much for explaining what is behind of this issue! Unfortunately I can't find the 'Queue Reporting VBO' from the Blue Prism Portal (under  Product > Developer Jumpstart). Has it been removed or located somewhere else etc.?
