Hi everyone,

I have the following question:

Can I restrict the access to the environment variables in a way that a user can only see some of the environment variables?

This might be interesting if a company only has one environment with several Departements using that environment. Without any restrictions, all users that are allowed to see environment variables will always see all of them. But you probably do not want a user of one Departement to also see all the environment variables of another Departement.

Thank you for your help.

Kind regards
Pascal

------------------------------
Pascal Weber
------------------------------
Hi Pascal.

Currently there is no mechanism for restricting access to individual environment variables. From the usage side, once an environment variable has been created, it can be referenced in any process or business object by any user. From the maintenance side, access to add/edit/delete environment variables can be restricted with the existing role based security provided within.

Hope this helps. Please advise of any further questions.

Thanks!

------------------------------
Darrell Coleman
Digital Exchange Technical Reviewer
Blue Prism
America/New_York
------------------------------
