Because the VBO is covered under an open source license if it is directly downloadable via the DX, nothing is preventing anyone from copying, modifying, reusing and/or selling the VBO in a slightly different form. If additional protections are required by the Provider of the VBO under different license terms, then the VBO should be launched in the DX as a solution and then this IP protection may be handled by the Provider of the asset (i.e., the Partner).
