Facing issue in send mail using GMAIL API v1.

Hi,

I have downloaded Gmail API skill and want to send mail using it.

This is the what I have configured in Common Authentication.

In Action I am calling gmail.users.messages.send

I am getting below Internal Exception:

Can anyone please help me to resolve this Exception or can let me know what is the issue ?

the scope value does not seem right. See this for correct values

Hi Peter,

I tried using below Scope :
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send

But I am still getting the same error.

Can you let me know which will be the right Scope to be used ?

Chirag,

Are you trying to use the GMail skill with a personal GMail account? If so, that may not work. I believe the GMail API is restricted, by Google, to Google Workspace accounts.

I have the same issue, sending email and is not personal gmail account, There is not definitely alternative (OAuth 2.0 type) to send emails for users who do not use POP / IMAP, as if it can be done with google spreadsheets, there are many users of google applications WOW

I am not using a personal Gmail account. I am using a business account and workspace to send emails.
I am having the same issue and am unable to send emails using Blue Prism Gmail API Skill.

@chirag.patel,

Remind me, are you trying to authenticate with a service account or a specific user account? We're working on an example process that shows how to use a service account to connect to GMail on behalf of another user (delegated user) and perform various actions. We should have it posted to the DX later today. Of course, use of this example depends entirely on the creation/configuration of a service account in your Google Workspace environment.
