Blue Prism Archiver Setup

Blue Prism Archiver is a DX asset created to move WQI and Logs out of a BP database into an Archive DB. The asset will be released in August. This discussion was created for support related questions as the asset is not formally supported by BP. Support will be provided by the original author and BP communities unless notice is provided otherwise.

Ideally, this should be added in the System settings itself because everyone would need this at some point.

Hi David,

I am currently working on archiving of BP queue data. I have gone through your approach. I have couple of questions to start with. So, we have our BP production database on a different SQL server which is connected to BP IC server. So according to BP archiver method, we have to create a new archiver db in the sql server and run the scripts to create virtual db's. correct me if i am wrong.

Hi @David-Dinh We had successfully implemented the Database Archiver solution in Dev and Qual. In Production we are getting an error Exception : The INSERT statement conflicted with the FOREIGN KEY constraint "FK_BPAWorkQueueItemTag_BPATag". The conflict occurred in database "BP_ARCHIVES_PROD", table "dbo.BPATag", column 'id'. " . Could you please suggest how we can resolve this issue?

Please dont use this version. There are performace efficiency issues. Use the lastest version.

Correct, the Archive database is its own database. You need to use the IC to create a BP database first, then run the 100 script to modify the schema. If you need help setting this up, please send me an email or open a support ticket and I will schedule a meeting.
