Blue Prism v6.10.1 slow interaction with KAFKA using DX published VBO

have a process that listens on a Kafka Topic for responses from a separate system. When Blue Prism polls this topic periodically (every few seconds) it doesn't return any messages. However when looking at the topic, there are messages available to be picked up. The integration pattern used is a Kafka consumer that has been downloaded from the DX Site.

Hi @AllanRo

When you say the BP process doesn't pick up the messages, do you mean it never gets them, or it's delayed in getting them? Are you using the regular Kafka client or the Avro client?

Hi Eric

Thank for the response and apologies if it was not 100% clear. Blue Prism picks up messages, however in most cases slow and as it polls every couple of seconds some messages don't get picked up.

@AllanRo couple questions.

Can you share a screenshot of your property settings for the call to the Configure action?
Is this the regular Kafka client VBO or the Avro version?
Are you using an internal Kafka instance or are you calling a hosted service like Confluent's Kafka?
