Hello BP Community,

Just wanted to let you know that we've pushed some changes to the DX platform.

Assets are now listed on the Explore page based on their Last Updated date, so assets with recent changes will be displayed before assets that haven't been updated in a while.
The missing additional resources section is now displayed again for assets that include additional resources such as DLLs, example processes, etc.
Documents (ex. user guides) are now opened in a separate tab in the browser instead of downloading. You can still download them though. You just do it from the PDF viewer in the browser tab.
The DX remembers your search now. If you search for something, go into an asset page, and then press the back button, you will be taken back to the same display of searched assets.

Nothing seems to work here on DX. Using Chrome browser.
Downloading assets takes you back to the asset overview page.
Download pdf opens a new window as described, but there are no relation to pdf documents, it refers to links like this: blob:https://digitalexchange.blueprism.com/a9bc0cd8-8727-4bf7-8f9f-3e6aa5ab0a81

Can you verify that you're logged in? If so, please clear your browser cache and try again. If that doesn't work, let me know.

I can confirm that I am logged in and cache have been cleared. This morning I am able to download ressources, but PDFs are still not getting fetched.

When I click "User guide" a new tab opens up. There is an "Open" (Åbn) button, but the button does nothing, and nothing is downloaded either.

@Mats__Pettersson it seems almost like you don't have a PDF viewer installed that the browser can use. Are you able to open other PDFs in your browser?

Hello @ewilson - For below asset of One note- User guide is not opening properly. For other asset - proper PDF is coming in new browser tab.

As of now - i choose word option to open this but this is behaving differently than other assets on DX.

Thank you Eric, yes - it was a mistake on my part. After the chrome extension manifest update, it seems that our default pdf viewer foxit is no longer supported in chrome. I access the PDFs just fine in edge now.

hello @ewilson

I am not able to save guide for below asset. pdf extension is not coming while saving and if i am doing this manually , saving is failing.

jenkin Asset - BluePrism Digital Exchange this has same issue as oneNote Asset which you fixed.

also is there a possibility that Guide name will be VBO name ? currently it is coming as GUID ID

Thanks for the heads up. We're looking into this. The PDF extension is coming across fine for me, but the file name is being lost somehow when the file is transitioned to a new tab.

Thanks @ewilson there is one more issue. Not sure if you are aware about this as well.

1. Suppose you are logged in fine on DX portal

2. then you click on any DX asset link - it will open another tab and show Login in right hand side instead of user name as you are already logged in.

3. Now since DX is showing you are not logged in - but this is wrong as you are already logged in in another tab. when you click on download button - Web page will refresh and bring you to home page again and you lost the asset.

4. and ultimately you have to type or copy paste the asset name. Direct link are not working.

@Neel1 I misread your issue. We addressed the problem of clicking on the download icon on the mini-cards which resulted in a new tab being opened and the new tab had no visibility into the existing JWT for the logged in user.

We still need to address the issue of not caching the users last page.

1. there used to be Release notes. i checked it few days back now the section OR hyperlink is missing.

and user guide is timing out but other two documents are getting download. can you check this issue.

@Neel1 we'll look into the release notes missing. As for the user guide and comparison guide, both loaded for me in a new tab. The response time was a bit slow though, so that's something else we can look into. The example process had no issue downloading.
