&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;"Ensure that there are no firewall settings (both hardware and software) blocking the ports in use or&amp;nbsp;the actual applications&amp;nbsp;(automate.exe and for the Application Server - blueprismserverservice.exe or BPserver.exe depending on whether or not you are running your BP server via the server service)."&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Both of these applications are allowed through the firewall.       <title>Scheduler Not Working</title>

      <description>&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi Everyone,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I am having a strange issue with scheduling a process on a newly configured virtual machine (which is setup as a runtime machine). We have already a few virtual machines setup with the scheduler working fine, but our newest virtual machine does not work with the scheduler. It shows 'IDLE' and connected in the control room, but whenever we schedule a process the logs show the same error 'XXX resource is offline. Retried 15 times..'&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;When I manually drag &amp;amp; drop from the control room, the process launches fine as well.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The scheduler is enabled on the new VM.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Login Agent is used to login on the new VM&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The setting 'start a personal runtime resource on this machine when users sign into Blue Prism' is OFF.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Some screenshots for more information.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The Log from recent activity:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>Take a look at the Support Article related to Troubleshooting Scheduler. It may not solve your issue, but I'm guessing this is a simple problem of some random setting that either you missed when setting up the VM or BP on it or something. I would be tempted to generically say to check firewall settings or something. My best guess is that your newest VM is not configured as the others. For example running programs in admin mode or having a different power setting.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;This is common issue, Sometimes after creatng a new scheduler it will not create a session due to that is not relating in the scheduler entry in the backend. To resolve the same just restart your app server this issue will be resolved and the entry will relfect in the scheduler time table.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;After performing the if its in working then you need to check below area's.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Check whether listner is up and running&lt;BR /&gt;Check runtime resource status is online and idel&lt;BR /&gt;Check whether person runtime resource check box is selected under the settings tab.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If this resolves your issue.
