My recommendation is to check the windows log for clues in the time when this process fails.
Also, do you restart your RR daily?
Check the memory usage after and during the error.

------------------------------
Luis Lopez
Customer Support Engineer English and Spanish
Blue Prism Ltd
------------------------------
Hello,

In some of our BP automations we use MS Excel VBO - Run Macro stage for running macros in b/w, recently we have started observing that macro gets frozen indefinitely and needs manual intervention. Below are our findings so far

1) We have started noticing this issue after migrating to Windows 10.
2) This issue occurs for macros that run for longer durations (>45mnts or an hr) and goes into not responding state (attached image for ref). Basically for macros that run for longer durations they go into not responding state but macro would be running but here it gets frozen not moving further.
3) We did not notice any pop ups in this scenario.

Can someone help us in getting this issue resolved or with any of your findings that would help us to investigate further.

------------------------------
Kiran P
Associate Consultant
Northern Trust
Bangalore
------------------------------
Hello Luis,

Thank you for your suggestions, we will investigate on these points. The runtime resources are restarted regularly once in a week and whenever required in between.

------------------------------
Kiran P
Associate Consultant
Northern Trust
Bangalore
------------------------------
