topic Surface Automation of an… in Product Forum

Surface Automation of an entire desktop is as challenging as it gets, not least because Studio and the Remote Desktop compete with each other to be the active window. If you've only recently done the SA training then attempting such a project really is jumping in at the deep end and I would recommend you seek assistance from a more experienced colleague. But SA is a big topic that can't be explained well here, hence my suggestion that you reach out to your Lead Developer.

Relative Positions in Surface Automation

Hi All-

I am trying to do some automations using Surface Automation technique and gone through Surface Training Automation Introduction and training documents. However, while actually doing the automation using the Remote Desktop manager, I am bit struggling to debug the process while developing as the reason being I am trying to automate the stuff on remote desktop and really cannot get into implementing it.

And one other challenge is in terms of making the elements identified in the region editor as dynamic. Though I understand that Start X, Start Y and End X, End Y are related to region . Are there any easy thumb rules that I can follow for different criterias?
