HTML Spy Doesn't Work as Expected

Hello,

We are facing an issue lately in Production environment where HTML spy doesn't work in unattended mode.However it works as expected in attended mode.

1- Using Object Modeler we can identify,highlight the element
2-BOT works if we run it in attended mode.Fails in unattended mode

It was working fine for several months.Not sure why we have this issue.

Please suggest if you have faced this and found a workaround.

Hello Manas,

there could be a multitude of reasons why this is happening.
If it was working fine for several months and suddenly stopped working, it's more than likely because something changed in the environment.
Have you checked with your internal IT team if something was applied or changed without your knowledge?

You mentioned the issue is affecting your Production environment, so I would highly recommend that you log a Support ticket with Blue Prism Global Customer Support for further investigation.

We have a ticket with Blue Prism on this.So far we don't have a resolution.
We investigated further and found there was a security patch applied after that we see this behavior.How ever other automations who does the same action are not impacted.

Hello All,

We found a fix for this .We had to do an "Activate Application" which will ensure that the application is in focus and then BOT worked as expected.

Try to activate app before doing any action (Uset this if application is not getting auto focus)
