<title>Java - Unable to highlight previously spy element</title>
      <link>https://community.blueprism.com/t5/Product-Forum/Java-Unable-to-highlight-previously-spy-element/m-p/59357#M13022</link>
      <description>Hi,

We are integrating with a Java based application and currently face the issue where we spy the field using Java mode in Blue Prism (works), and the second after we used the Spy function then we try to highlight it and get the error message: "Error - Highlighting results - No matching java elements found"

Following parts have been checked to troubleshoot:
1. JAB is activated
2. No Values or IDs change between different mapings of the same object
3. Ancestor count or Ordinal does not help
4. Descendtree in application modeller does not help
5. Remove parameters in application modeller to find any object but cannot find anything. Not even with Java Text field as only search parameter.
6. Application navigator does not find the specific element, only larger blocks around the table
7. Application navigator, invisiable object check box does not help

How can we spy something using Java mode but not be able ot use it later on? Any tips on this would be really appreciated.

Thanks!

      <description>Hi,
We faced the same problem earlier. In order to overcome that in Application Modeler untick the check boxes for Link and Parent URL.</description>
