Error when reading an SAP Gridview

I am connecting to a VDI and opening the ME23N screen in SAP. Since I cannot directly store a table into a collection due to this table having two identical column names, I respyed the area to change the element type to SAP GridView like the knowledge article says. Now, when I try to use a read stage to store all the items in a collection, I get the exception unknown name (HRESULT: 0x800200006)(DISP_E_UNKNOWNNAME). Does anyone have an idea how to resolve this issue?

We are getting the same error "Unknown name. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80020006 (DISP_E_UNKNOWNNAME))" while trying to read SAP grid to collection. Element highlight is working correctly but read stage is throwing an error. Any help to resolve the issue is much appreciated.

Hello Anonymous
Thank you for contacting Blue Prism community.

This error is general error.

This error typically occurs when the SAP GridView control isn't properly identified or when there are issues with the element mapping. Here are several general troubleshooting steps to resolve the DISP_E_UNKNOWNNAME error:

1) Verify SAP GUI scripting and security prompts
2) Use the Spy Element tool again on the GridView
3) Confirm you’ve spied the grid itself, not its container
4) Confirm the element type in Blue Prism

5) Refer to the following Blue Prism KBs for more information

https://support.blueprism.com/en/support/solutions/articles/7000077474-how-to-select-all-items-in-an-sap-table-or-alv-grid-view

https://support.blueprism.com/en/support/solutions/articles/7000077370-how-can-i-spy-the-sap-grid-directly-

Regards
Hossein Azimi (APJ Customer Team Members)
