#BPTechTips Records all the Logs if error only enabled

Hello Everyone,

In some of the organization we are not allowed to record all the logs because of DB constraints. So in this case we can use this solution.
Very simple process where we use the append operation in File management utility and in input we give Date, time, Process name, current page and any other info if required.
Same can be used in case of any BE or SE and we can save this notepad where developer can access easily to check the errors.
Most important thing is that we can get the logs without including operations team which saves lot of time.

Sounds like a good alternative.

One part I did not got is that how you get log details in a data item?

If possible if you can add a screenshot of sample process snippet that you build for the same would be very helpful

Its Mandatory in as mentioned DB constraints are always be there. So I also used this as in centralize log tracking mechanism for all processes and its easy to use and delete .
I have added screenshots also can be added for any system exception in a similar manner

Some useful tips there.

Use of Data Gateways can also be an alternative to store only the logs that you want to into a external database.
