Turn off form cloning

I want to stop users from cloning forms. How can I do this?

Hi Joe.

That's a kick in the teeth! Due to various data fields that are hidden, when the user clones, it is causing errors in the system. I've tried purging them but certain ones I cannot afford to do this on as it will cause more data issues further down the line.

Hi Rhian

Thanks for coming back. I can see how that would cause you issues and that it would be a pain to handle from a process point of view. I don't have a perfect solution but you could select "Purge data on submission" on the fields you don't want a user to be able to replicate (if not all of them). The information is still sent to the Work Queue but isn't retained in the Interact database. This, however, does mean that data will be missing in the Submitted History.
