    <description>This is an annoying bug that is on our list. The workaround is to add a data item, open the properties, set to global, press OK. Then open the properties again, set to environment, press OK. Then the global setting will 'stick'.</description>

Why a env variable declared with Global scope is not retaining its scope even after save.  Any suggestions??</description>
