Get Dynamic X Y coordinates of position changing image

Hello,

We have a requirement in one of our project to read the image from application screen and image position on screen changes every time whenever page is loaded.

Currently we are reading image using Surface Automation with dynamic X & Y coordinates.

We tried spying image with HTML mode to get screen bounds and pass same coordinates to Region mode spy element dynamically. But, We are getting incorrect screen bounds and not able to read image in correct format.

Kindly let us know how can we fix this and if there is any other way for this.

Check if you are using global or local coordinates: global is where the origin (0,0) is at the top left of the desktop; local is where the origin is at the top left of the parent element. Also check the Win32 parent element of the region, and see how that origin compares - you may need to do some (mathematical) translation between the coordinate systems.

Hi Maroti,

Please select position as anywhere from blue prism image editor window.

if your image will change little bit from here to there it will recognize.
