RE: Runtime Server lost connection to Application Server

Hi Nikhil,

To monitor the Application Server availability you can check for a response from the bpserver endpoint as below (replacing ApplicaitonServerNameHere with your Application Server host name or fully qualified domain name);

http://ApplicaitonServerNameHere:8199/bpserver

or if you are using https;

https://ApplicaitonServerNameHere:8199/bpserver

If you get a response then you will receive a page like the attached BPServerEndpoint.jpg.

You could also monitor the Blue Prism event log for this error, it may be that there is some external influence causing the BPServer to become unresponsive for a period of time. You can check the Blue Prism event log on the Application Server at the same time a Runtime Resource logs this error to see help troubleshoot further.

Regards

Chris

------------------------------
Chris McGowan
Senior Technical Consultant
Blue Prism
------------------------------
