    <description>&lt;P&gt;By manually you mean, running the interactive client, navigating to control room, selecting a work queue, finding the work queue item, right clicking and selecting "Mark selected case and exception" e.g.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;and also when marking an item as exception from within a running process?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If so, this looks like a permissions issue; perhaps a strange combination of permissions within the Blue Prism internal roles or a database level permission. I would highly recommend raising a support ticket for this and attaching all the relevant information to the ticket, to do so &lt;A href="https://portal.blueprism.com/customer-support" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;click here&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>​Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;We are facing a weird issue in blue prism while marking queue items as exception. We are facing this problem while marking them as exception manually and from runtime resource as well.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;
