Can Decipher read handwriting? Can it recognize signatures?

Hi Terry,

Handwriting is not currently supported, but it is planned for future product releases. While it is not a hard commitment, the Product Roadmap has a general timeline of when we expect this and other Decipher features to be available.

Hi,

I tried doing this practically with a document which has sign but as of now it is not supported. Lets hope we get this in future release.

Hi Genold,

Handwriting and signature matching (I can't read my own signature, so I guess you're looking to match them) are not currently supported in Decipher.

You may be aware that we have recently been acquired by SS&C who have a market leading tool for reading handwriting. We are in the process of updating our document processing roadmap to both incorporate the current capabilities and key new functionalities. If you're interested in finding out more about this product in the mean time, please contact your Blue Prism account manager.

There's a revised feature in Decipher 2.2 for signature detection. This makes it easier to check if a signature is present, but it currently doesn't match it to a known signature.

Decipher 2.2 can check whether signature is present or not using this new data type. Waiting for signature verification in next release.
