Hi Justin
To bring a window back to the 'front' of the desktop you can use a Navigate stage to perform the Activate operation on a window element. A short pause after the Navigate stage (maybe 1 second) often helps to ensure the window is activated before you attempt the next interaction.

MS Excel VBO vs our own Excel created object

In one of our processes, there is a need for more Excel modeling than what the MS Excel VBO offers. We needed to model the variations of the "Paste" command.

We have an object that uses various MS Excel VBO stages and then calls upon an object that we modeled in Excel. The problem we are having is that the object looses focus on the Excel workbook when exchanging stages from the BP object to our object.

We have tried passing the "handle" instance but that did not appear to make a difference. We have also considered using the "Child Index" value but are unclear on how to use that.

Please let me know if you need further explanation.

Thank you.

Hi John,
I am still not having any success with your suggestion. Have you looked over my objects that I emailed earlier today?
Thank you,

Hi John,
I was finally able to work through the issue and found a resolution. I setup a Navigation stage to the element at the MS Excel application level. I then set the Input for ""Window Title"" to """" and the ""Process Name"" to ""EXCEL"".
Thank you for your help.
