Unable to read AA Attribute 'Ancestors Text'

Hello,

I'm trying to use a read stage to read the AA Attribute "Ancestors Text", but the stage is seemingly ignoring the 'space' between the words 'Ancestors' and 'Text', resulting in the error:

Internal : Failed to perform step 1 in Read Stage 'Read' on page 'Read Page' - Identifier ancestorstext of type aa not found

I've had no trouble reading other AA Attributes, including "Ancestor Count". It is seemingly this one attribute that isn't being interpreted correctly.

Has any one else seen this issue and know of any solutions?

Hi Chris,

I can replicate your issue. You may have a go at "Get Window Attribute" action to see if you can retrieve the value from there. Not sure exactly why this is the behaviour but it may have something to do with the way Active Accessibility works and the applications themselves. In all my testings, Ancestors Text pointing to the title of the window with no exception and that is probably why "Get Window Attribute" has worked for me.
