topic User Roles and Rights - Overwrite proces without ability to edit in studio's. in Product Forum

Hi,

I am looking for a way to create a user role that would allow that user to import releases and overwrite processes and objects, without the possibility of that user editing those same processes and objects in the proces/object studio.

For now, I have not found a combination of rights that achieve this. It seems to be that in order to import a release and overwrite the current proces/object one needs edit rights, the same rights that allow the user to change the proces/object in the studio.

For history keeping purposes I have found it useful to overwrite a proces instead of creating a new version i.e. a new name. Doing the latter doesn't give you the full history in BP in one view such as in the attachment.

Is there a way to achieve this or do you recommend another approach?
