Exclude values issue

Hi,

In my DFD I use exclude values field. In my document I don't want Decipher to caputre word Report in the table. Unfortunately, sometimes it doesn't work, any idea of how to improve this? I use the newest version of Decipher.

EDIT: I set misc parameters to UTD=TRUE and it looks like it helped to get rid of Report value, not sure if it is correct approach.

However, is there any chance to set exclude values with wildcard? I have also scenario where I don't want value Demande d'achat N° DA051376 / 11.10.2023 and I was thinking about putting to exclude values Demande d'achat N°*. Right now, even if I put whole sentence with date to exclude values, decipher still reads this.

Hi Jakub,

Exclude value relates to the entire field value and won't remove it from the field where it's only part of the identified region.

The misc parameter RowAreaExcludeValues may work, but can only be used to exclude single words. It might be enough if you set it as RowAreaExcludeValues = Report, Demande

If UTD is working for you, there's no problem using it. It's just a more strict method for table recognition and may not be as dynamic.
