      <title>Working with Java Application</title>
      <link>https://community.blueprism.com/t5/Product-Forum/Working-with-Java-Application/m-p/72744#M25349</link>
      <description>Hello

Facing following problems in working with jdk 9.

1. Applications fail to Launch from the Studio.

2. Difficulty in spying the application elements.

3. Navigator fails to load Element Tree.

- Java 9 introduces modular structure with many changed features.

- The directory hierarchy has also changed ( e.g. jdk/jre , lib/ext..etc.are removed ). This might be affecting the JAB configuration.

Please help if somebody knows how to resolve these issues.

<description>Make sure JAB is OK before doing anything in BP. There are standard tools such as JavaMonkey, JavaFerret and SwingSet that you can download to prove JAB is working (see Knowledgebase). If JAB does not work then BP Java integration will definitely not work either.</description>
