RE: Unable to open locked Object

Hello,

When you say that you are opening an object in your local system, does that mean that this object is not on a shared server and only exists so far in your local system (i.e. there is no possibility that other user has opened this same object and it is therefore locked)?

Some suggestions:
1. Does your object have a lock in its icon? See image 1
2. I suggest looking at your history of changes for the object. Before trying to open the object, under the history side of the screen, you can select two versions of your object, right click and select compare to see if a change you made is causing issues when you open the object. See image 2
3. Do you have a backup of your object you can re-import to restore (if nothing else is working)?

Hope these suggestions trigger some ideas for you.
Best,

------------------------------
Jorge Barajas
Blue Prism
Senior Product Consultant
Austin, Texas
------------------------------
