    <title>topic Spying Delphi Controlls in Product Forum</title>
    <link>https://community.blueprism.com/t5/Product-Forum/Spying-Delphi-Controlls/m-p/73393#M25998</link>
    <description>Does anyone have any experience spying and read/write/navigate Delphi Controls?

Blue Prism does recognize important attributes be default...
&lt;A href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delphi_(programming_language)" target="test_blank"&gt;https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delphi_(programming_language)&lt;/A&gt;

Any guides will help!

      <title>If Windows and Active</title>
      <link>https://community.blueprism.com/t5/Product-Forum/Spying-Delphi-Controlls/m-p/73394#M25999</link>
      <description>If Windows and Active Accessibility do not work for an element in a windows applicaiton, the next most obvious set of techniques to use are Surface Automation - contact your lead developer or Blue Prism mentor if you think you need the additional Surface Automation training course.
There are some other options for very old windows applications such as our DDE interface or our Application Hooking interfaces (some information on both of these is availble in the product help). I don't think hooking would be compatible with delphi but you could do some internal searching for more information about the applciation o find out if it has a DDE interface available to it.</description>
