6.5.1

Not able to use UIA mode after updating from 6.5 to 6.5.1 its taking lot of time and whole Blue Prism is not responding fir few mins. What I see in every update Blue Prism is getting more bugs waiting some stable version to come.
I forced to downgrade my BP version to 6.4.3a.

Hope for good news soon!
In 6.5 all these are worked now suddenly stopped working. 🙂

Amlan,
how did you manage to downgrade the database? Or how easy was to downgrade? We're about to install and test 6.5.1 as I honestly hoped that anything would be better than 6.5, but now I have my doubts...

I don't have any problem with UIA mode in 6.5.1 environment.

Could you share your process or object with us?

By the way, when I need to manipulate the download dialog box or the tool bar, I will use IE short cut key to increase the stability.

Its not about download Box any where in my screen UIA mode is not working..... I am able to spy but if you click on highlight Blue prism is not responding.

Could you please try and let me know if you can able to do it or not... Sometimes its working sometimes its not working at all. Its taking more than the usual time....

You can take a back up of that Data base before upgrade. Now once if you will install BP 6.5.1 automatically Database is upgrading so before upgrading take a back up and if you want to roll back then you Roll back in Data base also..
You can try in you local connection 1st then go for other.

And Update to 6.5.1 after some days once you will see how much stable it is.

One more thing Chenglung if you spied anything earlier try to execute that whether its working or not actually Blue Prism getting stuck completely.

Is there any problem with license part? I don't think so. Please let me know your feed back.

Thanks, I thought that there's a smarter bulit-in option to downgrade/rollback, which I didn't know about 🙂

We did the tests for 6.5.1 and so far there seems to be no issues with the release. Definitely no change of functionality in current processes and I didn't notice any issues with UIA spying or highlighting either.

Thanks, But I don't know why UIA issue is appearing for me some time. For some cases its working fine, may be issue with that web site.

I'm happy to hear that from you. Hope you are doing everything well.

You mentioned that "After spying, if you click on highlight Blue prism is not responding."
I guess this phenomenon is nothing to do with license.

Actually I also faced this issue when I manipulate some website by chrome.
I found some websites will disconnect their session(maybe?) automatically, and then Blue Prism can not get the response from the UI component so if you click on highlight, Blue Prism will pop up some error message or freeze.

Yes you are right Blue prism Frizzes or Some times Error is thrown.
