Authentication issue while connecting to BP application server

Hi All,

i am trying to setup my PC as BP server and and my colleague's PC as client for better understanding of architecture.
i created a DB connection with sql authentication(provided DB_Owner access to user) and ran bp server.exe and configured the server and started the bp server service(i selected local system account in the logon tab).
Now i created a new connection in my colleague's PC and selected blue prism server and gave my PC ip address and clicked on test connection, i got the error "The caller was not authenticated by the service"

Could any of you shed some light on this?

Hi Kiran,

Do you have SSO set up for this environment?

In an SSO environment, this is expected if you are logging in as a non-domain user. Blue Prism is trying to authenticate against the domain, and the "caller" (user) would not be authenticated by the "service" (automate.exe).

Sometimes, this error is seen in relation to certification, but it can also apply here due to the Active Directory/Domain setup.
