ERROR: Internal : the value could not be null. Name of the parameter: s

Dear All,

Has anyone faced this intermittent error while using "Get work sheet as collection" and "Get work sheet as collection offset" :

"ERROR: Internal : Could not execute code stage because exception thrown by code stage: the value could not be null. Name of the parameter: s"

If yes, please kindly advise us how to handle this error.

Hi

This error usually gets when it uploads the Data to collection, we are not sure when it fails and when it get success

one of the best practice I followed is, I generally recover and perform the below using blueprism and then retry to upload the data to collection

1. close and open the instances of excel
2. find any empty row
3. save it and close the excel file
4. then retry the data to get into collection.

if youre dealing with multiple excel, better do the same action by using code

best practice use the code stage

Retry get work sheet as collection should make our script more stable 🙂

Hi

Yes, Retry can be done, even if the data is large or heavy in excel it fails if you kept retry for three or more times

we have done retry but the success rates is 50-50.
