topic Significant Performance Issues - Not Shutting Down Development PC in Product Forum

When coming back to my development PC in the morning having not shut the system down the night before I am experiencing significant performance issues in terms of general processing power, especially when Blue Prism is left running. Restarting the system negates this issue, but I was wondering if there were any reasons why this may be occurring when no processes are being in control room or any other activity for that matter.

Thanks in advance!

Ctrl+shift+esc - task manager
Check your processes next time it happens.
Check duplicate processes names and memory/processor usage.
Chrome and other applications have those bugs where it adds 2mb into memory every few minutes.
Please let's us know the outcome.

The BP client isn't designed

The BP client isn't designed to run 24x7 and it's better not to leave it running all the time. This is especially true when you're doing development - the graphics of process/studio uses memory. If you're doing all day development I recommend you close down each time you go for a break/lunch.
