Restarting the system negates this issue, but I was wondering if there were any reasons why this may be occurring when no processes are being in control room or any other activity for that matter. Check duplicate processes names and memory/processor usage. Chrome and other applications have those bugs where it adds 2mb into memory every few minutes. Please let's us know the outcome. This is especially true when you're doing development - the graphics of process/studio uses memory. If you're doing all day development I recommend you close down each time you go for a break/lunch.
