RR setup in Azure design

Hi all,

I cannot find any updated documentation for best practice around Cloud setup so I would like to start the discussion here.

What are the proposed best practice for RR setup within an Azure environment?

1.) Azure virtual desktop would give scalability and in the long run a more dynamic way of provisioning software to the robots.

2.) Azure Virtual Machines, stable old setup with options for customization, although it would lack scalability for maintenance when the number of machines are above 50+

Are there any downside with option 1 AVD?

Otherwise I would expect it to be the recommended solution to all setups?

Are currently not supported and not an option for RR:s.
