We are excited to announce that a new Process Assessment Tool is being launched in November 2020.

The Blue Prism Process Assessment Tool is the first in a future set of solutions designed to help customers identify processes that are suitable candidates for automation, by allowing them to easily assess value, ROI, and benefits, designed to support the creation of a sustainable automation pipeline.

The tool aligns with the Governance and Pipeline foundation of the Blue Prism Robotic Operating Model (ROM®) methodology which helps support our Customers and Partners to create a strong and consistent pipeline of process opportunities.

The Process Assessment Tool is an online assessment of business processes and offers organizations a holistic view of their automation pipeline and provides information to support strategic planning for automation growth and scaling of the digital workforce into the wider business.

It is the next generation of the Blue Prism Process Discovery Tool; when it is released the current Process Discovery Tool will no longer be supported, so we are giving you advance notice that we will make the PDT available until the end of January 2021.

I want more information about this Blue Prism Process Assessment Tool.

The link portal.blueprism.com/replacement-process-discovery-tool is not givin the further information I need.

My boss was disappointed about the excel file.

What is the difference between the old xlsx file and the new Blue Prism Process Assessment Tool? Are they totally different or is another excel file?

The Process Assessment Tool is an online assessment that will objectively analyze business processes in terms of automation-readiness and potential business value. It offers organizations a holistic view of their automation pipeline and provides information to support strategic planning for automation growth and scaling of the digital workforce into the wider business.

It is the next generation of the Blue Prism Process Discovery Tool; it is a web-based application developed and hosted by Blue Prism, which we can iteratively develop in line with the Discover strategy and led by the voice of the customer.

It is scheduled for general availability November 2020
It will be available to all registered Blue Prism Portal users
It will also be in additional languages: French; German; Spanish; Simplified Chinese and Japanese

Unfortunately we cannot provide a data migration from the Process Discovery Tool to the new Process Assessment Tool. As we worked with our customer community, we re-designed the assessment. With the aid of an amazing design prototype we were able to create a question and answer experience which best suited the information being sought. As this changed the answer format options and the underpinning machine algorithms, it was not possible to create a data mapping.
