PAT - Clarification on Process and its authentication Questions

while filling the input for processes, i need clarification on below two question. explained below

If in first questions/snapshot - users is going to write more than 1 application and if i applications require UN PW and 2nd application is accessed via API. then what shall we select in 2nd snapshot.

Basically there is no option to select multiple value only radio button.

Hi Neeraj,

Good question and reasonable one. In this case, in my opinion you should select the first option only because API integration takes relatively less effort compared to supplying user credentials like UserName and Password via UI. So, the critical path involves applications requiring user credentials to be supplied via UI. Hope this clarifies.

Cant we have check box instead of radio button so that user can select multiple option ? First 4 options are quite realistic for automation.

plus first one means it is talking about SSO as well just to be clear on what written there?

You are in a way correct, @Neeraj Kumar, with your observation of having checkboxes instead of radio button just to determine the complexity of having multiple authentication types involved in the automation scope. This could go as a suggestion in the ideation page for PAT product owners to consider the request.
