BP version upgrade from v6.4.1 to v6.8-v6.9

Hi Team,

We are planning to upgrade BP v6.4.1 to v6.8 or v6.9,
we have done windows based, web based and surface automation in our processes.

Can you please suggest me what things needs to be taken care while upgradation? And what are the possible issues we might face in our developed process/objects after upgradation?

A guide to upgrading is now part of the product Help but I don't think that was the case for 6.4.1. The attached is from 6.10 but the advice within the document generally isn't version specific and you should find it useful.

Since you are on the older vision of BP make sure you have the enterprise version of the installation and not the DX version. There is a difference.

Hi Kshitij,

One issue we encountered in 6.9 is you cannot evaluate in debug mode the values from collection. Meaning you can't see them otherwise you assign it to data item and step on the calculation stage.

Above is the link for the enterprise version. If you accidentally pull down the one from the DX it has a self extracting DB and it'll appear that you've lost all of your data. It should still be there in the original DB though.
