Unable to get correct result after moving the files using "Move File"VBO Action

Hi,

I moved the selected file from one folder to other after that i have created a decision stage to give result as success, though the file is moved in decision stage i am getting false result.

Screen shot attached. Please can someone help to sort this issue

Could you show us what error is returned from the move file action?

Hi,

I didnt get any error the file is moved to the specified folder but in the next step i created a decision stage it should say success true but it is taking false path.
Saying the file is not Moved. Even though it moved the file

Have you tried to do the process manually? If yes, did you get it?
See if the output in the code is correct.

Hi,

This issue occurs during moving the files which have huge file size or while trying to move the file to some shared location/shared drive where the connectivity plays an important role. The file is moved because during the time you logged in and checked, the file got enough time to move to the destination folder while the blue prism still thinks that the file is not moved. The best way to deal the situation is to use "File Exists" action in Utility - File Management VBO to identify if the file exists in the destination folder or not.

Hi Miya,

Ritansh given best answer for your issue.

If destination path more than 200 characters, map the root folder path as drive.

Then try to move the file using move file action, it may resolve issue.
