Edge in version 6.7.2?

Hi,

I was wondering if BP version 6.7.2 will has support for Edge? I find different information regarding this when looking around in the forum. If yes, what do I need to do to make it work?

@Josefine Thorén 6.9 is available now for implementation Bp started supporting edge browser from 6.8 only. compared to 6.8 6.9 has better features when it come to edge browser automation.

Hi Paul,

Even though the extension is not supported is it still ok to use UI mode or is this risky? If so, what risk might we see?

In your opinion, should any automation against Edge not happen until after an upgrade to BP Version 6.8 or higher?

Hi Melissa,

I don't have an older environment up at the moment to test, but I'm pretty sure that you can't use Edge at all until 6.8. I believe that prior to 6.8 you could install the extension (it's always shown up in the store), but it wasn't able to be used for spying. It would be easy to test if you have a version prior to 6.8 available.
