Hi, I am trying to encrypt SIN Number which I get from Excel file,
This Number is stored in Data Item, I am then trying to Encrypt the Number using Blue Prism
Utility - Encryption VBO, And selecting - Action - Encrypt
I am getting an error, Please help me to resolve this issues,
I am looking to create a re-useable object which will encrypt any sensitive data which then can be passed for Queues and Logs storage.

Also if there any other easy way of achieving this then please let me know.

Hi @RahimBhatia,

It looks like you may be using an older version of the Encryption VBO. There is a newer version available on the Digital Exchange. You can find it at the following link:

I'd suggest downloading the newer version and running your test again.

NOTE: With the newer version you can choose the encryption algorithm to use. Supported algorithms include: AES, Triple DES, and Rijndael. The default is AES.
