topic OLEDB Object For 64 bit OS and MS Office in Product Forum

The current OLEDB object can run on 64 bit OS and 32 bit MS office, but it does not work after upgrade to 64 bit MS Office. Error message indicate that Provider Not Registered on Local Machine. I found that provider registered in Program Files instead Program Files(X86), Seems current Oledb Object will be automatically directed to x86 to find the provider. How to have it be directed to Program Files to find the provider? I have tried to relocate the dll reference but failed. Due to IT policy requirement, 32 bit dataengine is not allowed any more.

------------------------------
Eric Li
Operation Analysis
AIG
Asia/Hong_Kong
------------------------------
