I have spied checkbox element which is not being identified at run time. I am using AA mode and AA mode is the only mode that seems to be at least partially working. The checkbox is present on a pop-up page. When i run the process, the checkbox is not being identified. I have to step in and re-spy the element. It works when i highlight it but when i run the process again - the element is not being identified.

Has anyone come across this scenario? Any workarounds or solutions for this issue?

Please let me know if you need more information.

------------------------------
Maneesh Vemula
------------------------------
Hi Maneesh, possible causes:

One of the attributes for the elements is not static and needs to be unticked. As a rule untick as many attributes as possible (expecially for AA mode where there are loads ticked as default), leaving just a few static/unchanging elements ticked.

If something works when stepping through but does not work when running at full speed it suggests you might be missing wait stage logic. Do you have an intelligent wait that is waiting for the screen or element to exist before you try to use it?
