<title>topic Utililty - Environment Object; Wait for Process Window Action -- tip regarding Window Title Input Parameter in Product Forum</title>
    <link>https://community.blueprism.com/t5/Product-Forum/Utililty-Environment-Object-Wait-for-Process-Window-Action-tip/m-p/80104#M31891</link>
<description>When utilizing the&amp;nbsp;Wait for Process Window Action from the Utililty - Environment Object, if the Window Title&amp;nbsp;(an input parameter) you want the Action to wait for contains square brackets... [ or ]... do NOT use those characters in the input parameter. The Wait for Process Window Action has an output parameter of Found (a true/false flag). If the Action encounters a window having the brackets-containing title, the Action will return a value Found of False, even if the literal value of the actual Window Title matches the value of your input parameter character for character.

Instead, substitute the wildcard asterisk character... * ... for either the [ or ] character.

Example,

If the literal value of the Window Title is&amp;nbsp;Lorem - [Ipsum], enter the Window Title input parameter to be "Lorem - *Ipsum*"&amp;nbsp;and the Action will find the window you seek.

In the comments, please advise if you know of any other characters that cause, erroneously,&amp;nbsp;this Action to return a Found = False.
