BP Automation on Foreign Languages

Hi All,

I wanted to know if Blue Prism will be able to automate the interfaces (websites or applications) with languages other than English such as Portuguese, Dutch or Chinese?

If so where can I find the relevant documents to support the same.

I use BP in japanese, and can automate without any problems.

Hi,

I have automated applications that are written in Korean and Chinease. I didn't face any problems. However, just a few pointers for you before you strat automating:

A) Try to set the locale of the development machine to the Language that you are trying to automate.

Click Start, then Control Panel.
Click Clock, Language and Region.
Windows 10, Windows 8: Click Region. ...
Click the Administrative tab. ...
Under the Language for non-Unicode programs section, click Change system locale and select the desired language.
Click OK.

B) Once done, Please ensure the language is supported on your MS WORD, MS EXCEL and so on. If not, install the language pack on your machine.

if you complete these 2 things, you shouldn't face any problems.
