Hi Bernard,

Users with Release Manager role have the ability to import Blue Prism assets into any folders as specified in the Blue Prism release. It is separate to the access control of the tree view where objects and processes are found.

It is important to understand this constraint when creating a Blue Prism release. This is especially true for your production environment, it is essential to have your environment one level lower than your production environment to have the same tree structure as your production environment so that release generated from it can be imported into production with no surprises.

------------------------------
Bruce Liu
Senior Product Consultant, Professional Services
Blue Prism
Australia/Sydney
------------------------------
Hi Everyone, is it possible to limit where (what folder) a user can import a release?

Even if we limit a user the access to only one folder, when he has the import rights in his profile. By importing a process or an object he can import anywhere, in any folder.

Thanks

------------------------------
Bernard Theroux
Programmer
Bell
Montreal
------------------------------
