Delete Field VS Delete Column for a collection

Hi All. I can see two actions " Delete Field" and "Delete Column" in Utility Collection Manipulation VBO.
I don't see any difference in output when executed both actions.
Can any one explain the difference between above two actions?

Hi Vinod,

The only difference is that the 'Delete Column' action would throw an exception if the field did not exist in the Collection. 'Delete Field' would look for the matching column before attempting to remove the column.

Cool. I have expected the same answer. Then why we have two actions when the output is same,? If we can throw an exception when the field did not exist in "Delete Field" action then both will be on same page. I am wondering is there any specific reason for BP team to include both actions.

At a guess, I would say a new requirement from a customer was submitted for a variation of the original action.
